Can you save my floor??

That is a very common question when dealing with water damage and hardwood flooring. Our team goes through extensive training to learn how to handle these situations.

A lot of times when water penetrates hardwood flooring it causes it to buckle. Making the wood slats bend in an upward position. If drying is not done fast enough then there is a chance that the wood will not lay back down. If this is the case, we will need to remove the damaged hardwood.

Once the damaged flooring is removed, we will place drying equipment to ensure that the subfloor is dried properly. Our goal with any water loss is to prevent secondary damage.
