The best way to fight mold is to prevent it.

Prevention includes keeping the humidity level in a home below 40%. It seems very low, but anything higher than this can welcome mold into the home with open arms.

Another way to prevent mold is to keep the moisture level low and prevent water from getting into the home. Keep leaks from forming, fix any water seepage right away, and always keep doors and windows secure so water is unable to get inside the home.
